THREE STAGES IN MAKING A COVENANT:

God’s covenant with people is one of the most basic ideas of the Bible. The three stages are…

  1. God revealed his will and made a promise.
  2. The people met the conditions God laid down.
  3. The people believed God and received a blessing (the opposite was also true).
