Student Development

My goal for youth is "student development." Young people are the next generation and it is vitally important that we help our teenagers make an impact in their schools, communities and other circles of influence!

Young people need to conform to the image of Christ and there are a lot of competing demands on teenagers today, so our goal is quality in all that we do. This is not so much a ministry to students, as it is ministry with students!

The words of Jesus tell us the importance of "body life." He said, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5). It's like a bonfire that is roaring, all the logs are on fire. Take one log and set it aside and what what happens. The flame of the log that is not a part of the total "body" begins to diminish and goes out. The log smolders and eventually will get cold. Light a match to the log and it just does not get the flame started. The only way to get that isolated log on fire again is to throw it back in the bonfire! So, jump on in and experience the life you were meant to live!
