Sunday Bible Study Communities

King's Grant Baptist provides an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to be involved with small group Bible study. We have classes that meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 and from 11:00. Our preschool classes meet on the first floor of our Education Building and our children and youth classes meet on the second floor. Our adult classes are spread throughout the rest of our building.

Visit the church web site for details about our classes:

Information About "Non-Quarterly" Classes

So you will know and be able to promote participation during the 11:00 Sunday School hour, I want to tell you about a few new classes that do not use quarterly materials.

Legacy Builders (previously the Young Adult class) is led by Craig Goodmurphy, LaVeryl Brown and Jerry Barnes. The goal right now is to bring many members back into the fold, focusing on relationships and building their foundation. They started on January 13 with a relaxed “Meet & Greet” fellowship. The first teaching series began on January 20, Making Great Kids. We are all leaving a legacy, so this class wants to build a legacy worth passing on to kids, family and coworkers! [ More ]

Fresh Start, while not a new class, is continuing a new series led by Bud Livers, called, When Worldviews Collide. Join them at 9:45 in the bistro room.

The Connections Class met the four Sundays of January during the 11:00 Sunday School hour. It was about nine months since the last one! I’ve taken the format from previous classes and come up with what I feel is a good mix of discovery new members and potential members. Pray that great things will happen in the life of our church! [ More ] We meet in the famous bistro room @ 11:00.

King’s Disciples are continuing their survey of the entire Bible, in Harvest Hall @ 9:45. The class will last through September 2008.

Chrysalis and Voyagers completed their Andy Stanley study about the Greatest Question Ever, (what is the wise thing to do?) and are now in a new Andy Stanley study called Life Rules: Instructions for Life. In kindergarten, ignoring the rules was a blast - especially if you could get away with it. But as adults, we understand that rules are for our protection and that if we break God's rules, we cause heartache and broken relationships. This study clearly explains Gods basic set of life rules, which, when lived, hold the power to improve your current relationships and mend hurting ones. It's never too late to learn, relearn, and follow the parameters God clearly outlines for His people. They meet in Room 3 at 9:45.

Spiritual Journey class is using material from Lifeway called, MasterWorks, which takes books written by popular Christian authors and makes the series into daily readings with a group experience on the weekend. They meet at 9:45 in Room 18.
